For students and working professionals, it was tough to pay high brokerage, do high cost furnishing to stay for. Even they have no time to do cleaning and preparing food by own due to restricted time slots in their college and job.
After doing a market analysis, he found approx. one third of the urban population stays in rental homes. But without a complementary team & external funds, it was almost impossible to address this gigantic market of $20 billion. With a mindset of ‘My Way or The Highway’ Nitin (who has 20+ years of rich experience in Telecom Domain, working with BD & Sales, Solution Design, Network Planning & Engineering team in various organizations such as Nokia Solutions and Networks, Hutch, Motorola, Tata Indicom, BPL Telecom) started providing a solution to this problem with extra vacant space of his own house & friend’s house. And this is how 3 D Modern care Pvt. Ltd. born out 9 years ago, aiming to provide affordable furnished house away from home. They have shared rooms, full rooms & full apartments available for bachelors, families & corporate in their couch.
Slowly & gradually, 3 D Modern care kept on surviving & growing with the revenue generated naturally. But the challenges were on the way, local competition from brokers & house owners, competition with new heavily funded start-ups & increase in usability of internet/e-commerce websites, it became mandatory for 3 D to adopt a new strategy to make its presence online to compete with all.
Finally, with a Mission of striving to provide access to scalable benefits to rental accommodations, backed through authoritatively engineered next-gen technology to revolutionize hospitality segment, its web product Room Soom Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was born out in August, 2016.
Headquartered in Noida, Room Soom is operational in 5 different cities including Noida, Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore & Indore. Till date, they have accommodated more than 20,000 tenants and are still on. With a team of 30, including technology, marketing, finance & accounts, business development, sales & operations team, company visions to change the way people stay in rental accommodation and to emerge as a key player in long run.
