India’s logistics & courier industry is expected to be worth US$ 301.89 billion by 2020 from $130 billion in 2012-13, according to the latest figures available with India Brand Equity Foundation, a trust established under the commerce ministry.

With the tremendous growth of the ecommerce space in recent years, India spends around 14.4% of its GDP on logistics and transportation as compared to less than 8% spent by other developing countries. This drastic gap in figures is only because Indian logistics industry is currently extremely unorganized.

A seven month old Mumbai-based startup, Sendd, is all set to take the Indian logistics and shipping industry to the next level, with its strengthened service cum technology backbone.
