“Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.”

Taking inspiration from this quote, Ksolves’ CEO and Founder Ratan Srivastava started his entrepreneurial journey in the big world of IT industry. His idea was clear, he wanted to do something different than anything that was already being done in the sector. His aim was to not only make the lives of his clients as technology easier as possible but also set a milestone for the industry while doing the same.

The Beginning:

Before taking the entrepreneurship plunge, Ksolves’ Founder and CEO, Ratan Srivastava had worked as a self-employed individual to test the market waters. After witnessing escalating growth, he decided to give wings to his dreams and thus, Ksolves India Pvt. Ltd was born. On 14th Oct 2014, Ksolves incorporation was done and Ksolves officially came into existence.

Since taking flight, KSOLVES has been able to establish a firm ground in the engineering services business over the better half of the past decade. Today, they have not only forged a long-lasting professional relationship with clients from all over the world but have also been able to nurture genuine, personal bonds with them. As a managed services provider, we have made our presence felt across various verticals, including Big data implementation, cloud-based technologies like AWS and Salesforce cloud, Serverless application development, Hybrid and native mobile applications, Application architecture consulting and Digital Marketing.

Not only this, the company now also boosts of being a NASSCOM, NSDL and ISO certified company and has clients all over the world, including countries like USA, UK, France and Italy.

Before Ksolves, Ratan had worked with many blue-chip companies in his corporate career and had been doing exceedingly well in his job in accordance to the usual corporate standards of promotions and salary growth. However, somewhere he always felt a little constrained as a problem solver in a vast corporate set-up. He always rued within his close friend circle how much famed agile framework is limited to development alone. He always wondered why same agility cannot be applied in aspects of a business including business development, HR, Finance etc. This thought encouraged him to take the entrepreneurship plunge and bid goodbye to his corporate job to chart his own path in the startup world.

The Challenges:

It can be said, that one of the greatest challenges that Ratan faced in getting Ksolves off the ground was getting experienced people to leave the security of their cushiony corporate jobs and join him in his journey. But, surprisingly, this is where the personal relationships that he had inculcated and nurtured over the years served as his biggest strength. One of his ex-colleague and good friend Sachin Ramdasi agreed to get onboard Ksolves’ ship as a Director – Projects & Delivery and one of Ratan’s oldest childhood friend decided to take charge of the finance department and provide positive reinforcement wherever necessary. With two knowledgeable and experienced people by his side and an army of passionate individuals, Ratan has been spearheading Ksolves’ ship like an experienced captain.

The Breakthrough

While the Indian IT-BPM revenue services export industry has witnessed a growth of CAGR of 13.5 percent between 2009- 2017. In the same period, since being born, Ksolves has grown into a 50-member team with an impressive revenue CAGR of 27 percent.

As a matter of working philosophy, Ksolves works hard to keep both client and employee concurrently at centre of its existence. This has helped in keeping attrition at single digits, which is a rarity for small Indian IT company. Long tenures by employees help Ksolves in retaining client-specific knowledge and Clients appreciate this.

Ksolves also takes pride in keeping delivery organization very flat which means clients have direct access to each person working on a project. This eliminates hierarchy led inefficiencies in two-way communication required for such fast-paced IT development modules.
