ADAI (Abu Dhabi Investment Authority) has invested Rs. 5,683.5 Cr in Reliance Jio platforms for a 1.16% equity. The investment values Jio Platforms at an equity value of Rs. 4.91 lakh crore.

So far, Jio has bagged a total investment of 97,885.65 from Facebook, Silver Lake Partners. Vista Equity Partners, General Atlantic, KKR and Mubadala, in less than seven weeks.

Established in 1976, ADIA is an investment institution that invests funds on behalf of Government of Abu Dhabi.

Reliance Jio currently has over 380 million subscribers in India.

On April 22, Facebook acquired a 9.99% stake RIL by investing 43,574 Crores. On May 4, equity firm Silver Lake invested Rs. 5,665.75 Crores in Jio.This was followed by an additional investment of Rs. 4,546 Crores.

On May 8, private equity firm Vista Equity Partners invested Rs. 11,367 Crores.
