From her early age she always had the eager to help people by motivation and inducing in them vigour to offer their best shot. This passion drove her, despite being a life science graduate, to the stream of Soft skills training. After being in the soft skill industry for 5 years Saira Nikhat Imam started her entrepreneurial journey in late 2013 with Integrate Yourself.
Integrate Yourself is primarily a training solutions provider that offers a wide array of services covering the areas of training, coaching, guidance and counseling and content development. Integrate Yourself believes in lending a personal touch to a workplace and initiate its transformation to high performance culture through customized training and coaching solutions.
About her motivational factor Saira shares,
“I have always nurtured the enthusiasm of doing a bit to the women empowerment. Our society, despite being in 2014, still has not seen the women empowerment the way it should have been. This has fueled the desire in me to get associated with the women empowerment projects in my little capacity. That is where a ray emerged out of being an entrepreneur.
Moreover, while being in the industry of soft skills for more than 5 years I am still seeing the hurdles that new faces face while putting their feet in. This lit up the flame further of creating a platform wherein fresher, especially girls, comes in and display her/his talent without letting her/him feels a new comer.”
Saira is a graduate in Life Sciences and has been in the field of training and development for more than 6 years with experience covering from communications training, accent training to behavioral training for academic institutions and corporates. Her prior training experience spans organizations in India like GenPact, Wipro Technologies, Sutherland Global, HSBC, IBM, GE Capital, JP Morgan Chase many more.
She is a Certified Associate Leadership & Life Coach Under NLP Coaching Academy Sue Knight’s and a Diploma Holder in NLP under Sue Knight’s association an INLPTA certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner.
One word or phrase that describes Saira is ‘she is an all-out people person’. Being social is an instinct that dwells inside her round the clock and that is what leap-frogged her into being a trainer. It is because of this zeal and zest that she got exposed to play diversified roles of mentor, coach, trainer and facilitator.
Difficulties are always there especially whenever you set your feet onto a new road. The first and foremost difficulty Saira faced while starting was the discouragement of the people who she was thinking of offering encouragement.
“Being a girl, in our society, invites unnecessary bumps starting right when you put your foot outside your home. That was the biggest hurdle and it did consume me loads of patience and courage to ensure I am not bogged down by any discouragement”, said Saira.
We believe women should be given the equal chance as men to chase their dreams. No one knows where the entrepreneurial path leads to but chasing your dream definitely gives you a life full of adventure and joy. We wish Saira great success with her venture.
