With a vision to empower individuals with the right skill-set and help them grow, NSDM India came into existence on May 2016 in Pune. Having training centers at three locations, Deccan, Koregaon Park and Baner, and expanding to different locations across the world.
How did NSDM come into existence?
Founders Harshit Gupta and Arpit Khurana have always been passionate about marketing and specifically through digital media. Having a bad experience in the field they decided to start training people themselves about digital marketing that ultimately turned out to be fruitful for the business. And that’s how NSDM came into existence.

Harshit and Arpit are both MBA graduates from Pune University and it was during those years, they learned a great deal about the world of digital marketing. Harshit, after working for several big players in digital marketing field devised various unique strategies that made him acquire an extensive knowledge in the field. Arpit, on the other hand was curious about digital marketing himself and got into conducting workshops after being placed with several leading companies.
Both of them had lead several digital marketing teams while they were employed in their respective advertising companies and have together worked with global brands like Moffat & Nicol, United Colors of Benetton, Ephesoft, Panasonic, and George Foreman’s e-commerce venture, Gfbuthershop.
It was in January 2015 when they got together and decided on starting their own institute and now NSDM has established itself as one of the most sought-after digital marketing institutes in the nation.
How far has NSDM India achieved in its initial years of training? What are its future goals?
From 2016, NSDM India has trained more than 4000 digital marketing professionals. This includes students, working professionals and entrepreneurs from an assortment of industries. They also also work closely with educational institutes in Pune like MIT, Sinhgad Institutes, DY Patil Institute, ISBM and several esteemed institutions in the nation. Speaking about which Founder Harshit Gupta said,
We plan to launch India’s first advanced growth hacking training program soon. India needs more institutes like NSDM India where young professionals can mold their future with hands-on experience in digital marketing. We foresee a lot of action happening in the digital ecosystem in the near future.
This seed funded startup has been receiving an overwhelming response from its students. According to Kamal Mandal, a Google AdWords Specialist in Accenture says that it was because of what he learnt in NSDM that got him placed at Accenture and getting him to work with his dream company Google through at first place.
