One of India’s largest IT services and consulting solutions providers Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Tuesday announced the launch of a next-gen technology solutions Center of Excellence (CoE) at its Hyderabad campus.
Speaking on about the launching of the facility, V Rajanna, Vice President & Global Head of Technology Business Unit at TCS said:
“Next generation technologies will play an integral role in our constantly connected world and this CoE will work with our customers to co-create new solutions and frameworks to accelerate the product development cycle and create differentiation in the marketplace.”
The facility spreads over an area of 10,000-square feet which can accommodate 200 engineers who would be researching on futuristic technologies. The primary focus of the CoE will be on emerging communication technologies such as Software Defined Networks (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV), 5G and wireless LAN (WLAN).
The center will also focus on creating create innovative technology solutions for the connected world in areas such as Man-Machine interface, Context-aware systems and resource constrained devices.
